No universal warranty
Mendrix does not claim that every product carries the same warranty. Coverage may differ by brand, model, and product category, and some products may have no express manufacturer warranty.
Good tools deserve clear answers.
Understand the warranty information that may apply to tools, hardware, and workshop equipment purchased at Mendrix. Find out what to check, how manufacturer coverage works, and what to do when something is not right.

01 / THE BASICS
A warranty is only useful when its terms are understood. At Mendrix, the details depend on the particular item and the warranty provider.
Mendrix does not claim that every product carries the same warranty. Coverage may differ by brand, model, and product category, and some products may have no express manufacturer warranty.
Where coverage is offered, the manufacturer's documentation identifies the duration, qualifying defects, exclusions, and available remedies.
Manufacturer terms and store policies do not remove consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
02 / THE RIGHT DOCUMENTATION
Coverage follows the product, not a single storewide promise.
Check the product listing, packaging, supplied manual, and any manufacturer warranty card or online warranty terms. These sources can specify where claims should be submitted and whether product registration is required.
Record the brand, exact model number, and any serial number where applicable.
Review the stated warranty period, permitted uses, exclusions, and proof-of-purchase requirements.
Some requests are handled by a manufacturer or authorized service center rather than the store.

03 / CATEGORY OVERVIEW
Different types of products can come with different warranty arrangements. Use these notes as a purchasing and claims checklist.
Drills, grinders, sanders, saws, and other powered equipment.
Hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and tool sets.
Laser measures, digital calipers, levels, and measuring devices.
Bolts, nuts, anchors, hinges, brackets, and connectors.
Blades, sanding sheets, adhesives, tapes, and similar supplies.
This overview is general information. It is not a promise of coverage for any specific product.
04 / TWO DIFFERENT PATHS
It's important to choose the right support path for your situation.
Usually relates to an issue potentially covered by the manufacturer’s terms, such as certain defects in materials or workmanship.
Mendrix offers free returns and exchanges within 30 days under its published policy. This is separate from any manufacturer warranty.
05 / SUPPORT PROCEDURE
If something seems wrong with a product, use this process to prepare a clear, useful warranty inquiry.
Stop using equipment that appears damaged or unsafe. Do not dismantle a powered tool or battery to investigate a fault.
Find the order number, item name, purchase date, model, and any relevant warranty documentation.
Explain what happened and when. Include clear photographs or a video if safe and useful, without attempting hazardous tests.
Send your inquiry to Mendrix. The team can explain the next step, including whether the manufacturer or authorized provider must review it.

06 / WHEN AN ORDER ARRIVES
A problem on arrival may require a different solution from a manufacturer warranty claim.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact Mendrix promptly. Keep the packaging where possible and provide the order number, item details, and clear photographs of the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, the matter may be addressed through our returns process, the applicable warranty, or consumer rights provided by law.
Do not test electrical tools with damaged cables, cracked housings, exposed wiring, swollen batteries, or other potentially dangerous conditions.

07 / COMMON LIMITATIONS
Some manufacturers restrict coverage for specific causes of damage. Actual exclusions depend on the written warranty and applicable law.
Normal wear and tear, or replacement of consumable accessories
Accidental damage, misuse, or operation beyond product ratings
Incorrect installation, unsuitable storage, or maintenance contrary to instructions
Unauthorized modifications or repairs where the warranty lawfully excludes them
Damage caused by incompatible batteries, chargers, parts, or attachments
